PREPARATION FOR THE OPENING OF CLASSES JUNE 10, 2008
 OPLAN BALIK ESKWELA 1. Early Enrolment for preschool, Grade I pupils and 1st year students and Moving on from Grades I – VI and 2nd Year to 4th Year from May 2 to May 30, 2008 in all elementary and secondary schools in the region. Submission of enrolment report on the first week of June, 2008. 2. Inter-Agency Convergence Meeting tentatively scheduled on the first week of June, 2008 to be participated by the DPWH, DOH, DSWD, PNP, LGU, DILG, DTI, and other agencies directly involved in the opening of classes. 3. Coordination with DTI regarding Price Monitoring of School Supplies from June 2 to 30, 2008. 4. National Schools Maintenance Week or Brigada Eskwela Week from June 2-7, 2008. 5. Launching of Oplan Balik Eskwela (OBE) in all schools in the region on June 2, 2008 through information dissemination like hanging of streamers, press releases, media interviews, internet, primers, fliers, etc. 6. Creation of a region/division OBE committee headed by a designated action officer who shall oversee local concerns in coordination with the Central Office. 7. Opening of Information and Action Centers of all DepEd Regional and Division Offices on June 2, 2008. 8. Monitoring of enrolment activities for implementation of policies relative to collection of fees in public schools. 9. Deployment of all Education Supervisors in the region and divisions to all schools in the region. 10. Operation Quick Count enrolment report and other related concerns send through channels. 11. Universal Medical and Dental Check-up (E-UMDC) of school pupils from Grades I-III as first priority on June 10, 2008 |
